We love our Bioflex lasers! Our first laser was purchased in 2007 for use in a physiotherapy practice. It was quickly observed to be our most effective modality for pain relief, and it had the added benefit of accelerating the healing process, shortening treatment time frames and improving outcomes. It proved to be a wonderful complement to the exercise and other interventions which comprise a traditional treatment plan.  What’s not to like!

A year later we opened the Avalon Laser Clinic in St John’s, Nl. This is a multi-disciplinary clinic, with all clinicians able to incorporate the lasers into their respective treatment plans. Despite offering a new treatment, within a novel delivery system, starting from scratch and enduring both usual and unique start-up challenges, we love the lasers in Newfoundland, too! In St John’s our patients tend to be more complex, but our success rate is high, and patients, for the most part, are happy. Nearly two years into the business, we are beginning to enjoy word of mouth referrals, which of course are always the best kind.

Whenever we have the opportunity to converse with other clinicians who work within the Meditech family we experience a sense of satisfaction.  We all enjoy high treatment success rates,  very accessible  technical and utilization support, and there is always an under-current of excitement concerning evolving uses for the low intensity laser technology.
